Eftihia Stefanidi is a creative director and photographer based between Athens and London.
Eftihia’s studies in theater and film and her prolific travels frame the basis of her work. Her photography explores poetic and sensual moments, anthropocentric or immaterial, as if taken out of a larger narrative, sometimes uncanny, with a cinematic depth.
After several years as a lead creative at pioneering performing arts organization Secret Cinema in London, she is now the co-creator and creative director of Shila and Mona, two boutique hotels and art hubs in the center of Athens.
Eftihia studied Theatre & Dramaturgy at Patras University in Greece, Filmmaking at the Academy of the Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), and obtained a Masters degree in Film Aesthetics at Oxford University.
